THE 2025 GIVING YEAR IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! |

In case you missed it...
The energy in the room was electric as Impact100 SRQ proudly announced it will award $864,000 in grants for its 2025 Giving Year!
With 864 passionate members gathered in celebration, Impact100 SRQ President Pam Kandziora welcomed attendees and emphasized the heart of the organization: collective giving. “This is a celebration of our membership and of the nonprofits in the community,” she said. "These grants not only provide critical funding but also amplify the visibility of the incredible work being done."
The evening also welcomed a special guest: Wendy Steele, founder of the Impact100 movement. Originally launched in 2001 with a simple yet powerful idea—100 women giving $1,000 each— Impact100 has since grown into a global force with 78 chapters in four countries and more than $160 million in grant funding distributed. “This growth has exceeded my wildest expectations,” Steele said. “When a chapter comes into a community, it becomes an economic driver—funding the arts, environment, education, job creation—all because women care deeply about where they live and choose to link arms with other women who have a shared desire to lift people up.”
Among those proudly in attendance was Jane Watt, Founding President of Impact100 SRQ, who launched the local chapter in January 2018 with women driven by a shared mission to make meaningful change. Since then, the chapter has experienced unprecedented growth, becoming the fastest-growing Impact100 chapter in the world, making the most impactful changes. Watt attributes the success to the very giving nature of the community. “People want to do more. They love where they live, they want to belong and they want to contribute on a deeper level,” she said.
Members are looking forward to funding bold, high-impact initiatives that will shape the future of Sarasota and Manatee Counties.

Impact100 SRQ loves our Coffee Chats!
Picture this: A cozy morning with good coffee, great conversation, and even better company—all while sharing the heart of Impact100 SRQ. Coffee Chats are small, feel-good gatherings (think 15–30 people) that bring together members, friends, and curious newcomers for connection, inspiration, and a little caffeine-fueled magic.
But the opportunities to connect don’t stop there. Members can also host casual get-togethers at local restaurants, wine bars, or community spaces—offering a relaxed setting to mingle, share stories, and spark meaningful conversations about the power of collective giving. Whether it’s brunch at a favorite café, a happy hour at a neighborhood hotspot, or a small evening event in your own backyard, these gatherings are a fun and personal way to invite others into the Impact100 SRQ community.
Hosting is super simple—you pick the spot, invite a few folks, and we’ll help with the rest. We’ve got materials, talking points, and a friendly face to help guide the conversation.
It’s a chance to share what makes Impact100 SRQ so powerful—women coming together to create real change in our community, one conversation at a time. You’ll leave energized, inspired, and maybe with a few new friends, too. Guests are always welcome! So go ahead—be the reason someone gets involved, gets inspired, and gets their morning off to a meaningful start. Let’s chat!
