110% Membership: A Small Difference that Makes a Big Impact
You’ve heard us say it many times—our model is simple and powerful: At least 100 women each contribute a $1,000 tax-deductible donation, and together we award grants of at least $100,000 to local nonprofits in five focus areas: Arts, Culture & History; Education; Environment, Recreation & Animal Welfare; Family; and Health & Wellness. But like every nonprofit organization, Impact100 SRQ has operational expenses. And if 100% of your membership contribution goes directly to grants—how do we cover those costs?
One important way is through our 110% Memberships. What Is a 110% Membership?
A member who joins or renews at the 110% level contributes $1,100: - $1,000 goes directly to funding transformational grants.
- $100 supports K.I.S.S.—Keeping Impact Self Sustaining—by helping cover operating expenses.
Other Ways We Sustain Our Mission In addition to 110% Memberships, we rely on: -
Friends of Impact – Members who give additional donations to support the work of our chapter.
- Business Supporters – Local businesses that contribute general support or sponsor all or part of our events.
Both Friends of Impact and Business Supporters are recognized on our website. What Do Operating Expenses Include?
Your support helps fund essential items such as: - Member database software, maintenance, and support
- Submittable, our grant application and review platform
-
Insurance and required registrations
- Post Office Box and storage rental for signage and event supplies
- Venue rental, production costs, and catering for signature events like the Annual Celebration and The Big Reveal
Your Impact100 SRQ Board is committed to keeping expenses as low as possible. However, rising costs make Keeping Impact Self Sustaining more challenging each year. As you join or renew for 2026, please consider choosing the 110% Membership and helping ensure the long-term sustainability of our chapter.
Year-End Contributions
The end of the year is approaching quickly! Now is the perfect time to join, renew, or participate in the Friends of Impact program if you want your contribution to apply to your 2025 tax deductions.
If you are mailing your payment, please do so early to avoid holiday delays and ensure it arrives by December 31. Your gift is fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.
