Learn how The Help Florida's Raptors Soar – Construction of a 100 ft Flyway for Raptor Rehabilitation initiative, we funded, has increased survival rates of raptors rehabilitated at the Wildlife Center.\n\nExecutive Director, Pamela DeFouw will share how the new flyway, complete with proper hides and perching, allow large, injured birds of prey rebuild their strength and test their soaring and maneuvering skills. She will also explain how a healthy raptor population is vital to our ecosystems, reduces the spread of disease and serves as a barometer of our ecological health.\n\nParking will be tight, so we encourage you to carpool. You may have a short walk to the Showcase. We will ACTUALLY SEE the new flyway in small groups so as not to disturb the other patients.
