USF estimates the annual economic cost of untreated mental illness for children and young adults in Sarasota County is $86,179,317. Their recent study also points out half of all chronic mental illness begins by the age of 14.

Hear how The School and Family Wellness Support Services Initiative is addressing this critical need offering clinical sessions and wrap around services for area youth/teens.

President and CEO, Dr. Helene Lotman will share how including the entire family's emotional, social and physical well-being significantly improves outcomes. Her team will show us how mental and emotional well-being will lead to improved coping, communication and effective work and school performance, AND improved physical health.
