We are going to court to see actual Teen Court cases. We will start in the jury room and hear how first-time teen misdemeanor offenders are offered a second chance through Teen Court programs and services.
 
Teen Court's success rate of students who complete the program and stay crime free is 92%.
 
You will see how the two new staff positions, funded by the Impact100SRQ Grant, have helped Teen Court to expand their services and meet the needs of rapidly increasing referrals of at-risk youth.
 
Then we will head into the court rooms and witness actual court cases. While the jury is deliberating, Teen Court volunteers will share their experiences and answer questions until the jury comes back with a verdict.
 
Since we will be in an actual court room, seeing an actual Teen Court case, please make note of the following:

• You will need to sign a confidentiality form and go through security
• Please observe court room attire & decorum: no flip flops, phones off, etc.
• Our members will be asked to turn off their phones and refrain from taking pictures.  Teen Court will take appropriate photos and share with us for social media.
• It could take 15-20 minutes to get through security/registration, so plan to arrive early (not before 5:00 please). The program will start at 5:30. No one will be admitted after 5:45.

We recommend parking at the garage on the corner of Ringling Boulevard and School Avenue.
