See how the "Lifeline for Youth" initiative is helping children in Foster Care and youth aging out of Foster Care through every stage of civil legal proceedings. You will hear how our members have helped Legal Aid of Manasota (LAMS) expand the number of children living in our community they reach by supporting an additional Foster Youth Attorney.
Linda Harradine, Executive Director LAMS, Juvenile Court Judge Andrea McHugh, LAM Foster Youth Attorneys Janella Leibovitz & Te'ya O'Bannon-Martens and others will share real life stories of youth supported through this work.
Protection of civil rights paves the way for safe and successful futures – ultimately saving the state costs for long term care and making our community safer. A true lifeline.
