Come see your generous Impact100SRQ Membership at work! HOPE Family Services’ 2022 Initiative: “Children’s Counseling Center” is now complete! CEO, Char Young and her team will walk you through how our transformational grant helped HOPE add their new Children’s Counseling Center to help minimize the trauma to children who have witnessed, or been involved in domestic violence. HOPE will present a child’s experience during a visit to the Laurel A Lynch Outreach Office before and after receiving our grant. You will hear from the various service providers (legal, advocacy, etc.) and learn about building a safety plan. You will a tour the brand-new Children’s Counseling Center; a kid friendly safe space specifically designed by the children’s counselors for the youngest, most vulnerable family members; finally, a better chance to break the intergenerational nature of family violence exists.
