Come see your generous Impact100SRQ Membership at work through the Booker Promise Foundation’s Initiative “Booker Promise Scholarship Program”. Because of you, 31 additional scholarships have been awarded to Booker High School juniors who might not otherwise find their way to college for a two-year associate degree in Florida.
President and CEO, Early Young, Dr Rachel Shelly & Michael Shelton will show you the path students in this very successful program take to success. You will see how students are identified for the program, how personalized life plans are created including skill development and support to connect student strengths and interests with college prep, career guidance and more.
You will hear how students put in the work receiving comprehensive mentoring including college and career success counseling, academic and behavioral monitoring and individualized interventions to help students reach their fullest academic and personal potential.
Finally, a few surprise speakers will share their experience with the program and what it has meant to them!
