Shop For Impact was a fashionable success! Thank you J.McLaughlin Longboat Key for hosting this Give Back Event and sharing your love for Impact100 SRQ. Members and customers were treated to refreshments and extraordinary styling all for and 15% of sales was donated to our chapter to help Keep Impact Self Sustaining (KISS) Special shout out to sales associates (and members) Candace Ordonez and Carol Smith for hosting! We are so grateful for your support. |

| It was an honor for Impact100 SRQ to be invited by Benderson Development and Sarasota Cars & Coffee Social Club to be the spotlight nonprofit at the premier automotive monthly event in Sarasota last month. This event brings together fellow exotic, sports, and classic car owners and enthusiasts every month in The West District of UTC Mall, and participating cars are encouraged to donate a suggested entry fee which benefits a different local nonprofit each month. Our dedicated volunteers braved the cold and windy conditions, and helped direct traffic for over 300 cars making the first Sarasota Cars & Coffee event of 2023 successful and fun for everyone!
Impact100 SRQ is so grateful for this support which goes toward chapter expenses to keep us self sustaining. |

Our second member orientation, held on February 13th at BLVD, was a huge success. Pictured above are new 2023 members, who onboarded with technology, were informed about our Impact100 SRQ timeline of important events and learned about ways to engage from the different arms of the organization: Membership, Grants, Nonprofit Engagement, Marketing & Communications, and Organizational Services. We mixed, we mingled and had a fun, informative evening. Thanks to all the Board members and volunteers for making this event purposeful and engaging.
We are planning our third member orientation for March 30th at Beau Ciel. All members are invited to attend.

Our annual Last Day Event to renew your membership or join for the 2023 Giving Year will be held at the Douglas Residence. Engage with other Impact100 SRQ members and renew your membership. The Crowley Museum and Nature Center Hayride |

2021 grant recipient, Crowley Museum & Nature Center’s, initiative: “Equal Access Immersive Outdoor Classroom” is now complete. Crowley was hit hard by Hurricane Ian, but the new Boardwalk funded by our members in 2021 was built so well it survived the storm. (The original Boardwalk was destroyed by Hurricane Irma in 2017.)
Dixie Resnick, President & CEO, will give an overview of our Impact in Action, sharing the importance of wetlands education and discussing how nature creates, destroys and recovers.
You will have the first-hand opportunity to view the historical exhibits and go on a hayride to get up close to the new Boardwalk that we funded.
Hayrides are at 10:30am and 11:15am
Crowley Museum and Nature Center is a 191-acre farmstead dedicated to preserving Old World Southwest Florida nature and history, and promoting environmental awareness.
There will be a short walk through moderately rough terrain to get to the Boardwalk. Closed-toed old shoes, sneakers, or boots are highly recommended.

HOW TO ORDER YOUR NAMETAG |

Visit our online store to order your nametag!
Scroll through the impact shop items and select: the Impact100 SRQ NAME TAG (Color: Poppy) : 2019 – 2023 or click here. Select your Join Year from the Drop Down. REMINDER: if you joined after Feb. 28 of a calendar year, you are a member of the FOLLOWING YEAR. Ex.: joining on or before February 28, 2022, you are a 2022 Member; joining on or after March 1, 2022 you are a 2023 Member.
Select Add to Cart, and then select Checkout. During the checkout process you will be prompted to enter your name AS YOU WOULD LIKE IT TO APPEAR ON YOUR NAMETAG. Your name and joining year will match your profile in our member contact system. Nametags are ordered in bulk once a month and take a few weeks to arrive at Impact100 SRQ. Please allow time to receive your nametag.
ALL NAMETAGS WILL BE MAILED. However name tags ordered in February 2023 will be delivered to the Big Reveal Event (register now)! |
