As we celebrate our 5th giving year, we are beyond excited to have 763 members who will collectively fund 7 transformational grants in the amount of $109,000 each to local nonprofits in our 5 focus area categories: Arts, Culture and History; Education; Environment & Recreation; Family; and Health & Wellness for the 2023 Giving Year.

This year, Impact100 SRQ will fund 7 grants to local nonprofits in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. The grant application is now open. As a reminder, nonprofits are required to complete an eligibility form before an application can be submitted. |

Participation in the grant application review process is an inspiring and exciting chance to learn firsthand about the incredible nonprofit organizations in our community and the meaningful work that they so tirelessly continue to undertake. Each of our 5 FACs will be presenting two finalists from a variety of grant applications for full membership consideration and voting at our Annual Celebration and Award Ceremony this November. A MESSAGE FROM WENDY STEELE |

Wendy Steele, President and Founder of Impact100 Global, joined our Big Reveal event on March 21st, speaking to hundreds of attendees, sharing a message of courage, of believing in the Impact100 model, and of being engaged in the mission as the biggest gift of all. The uniqueness of the Impact100 giving model has remained elegant in its simplicity for over 2 decades: 100 women give $1,000 each to collectively fund a $100,000 grant to nonprofits who make a difference in their local community. Wendy’s idea for Impact100 took shape over 20 years ago when she started compiling a list in a spiral notebook tracking barriers that women shared which prevented them from contributing, (either financially or otherwise), to a greater community commitment to work toward solving the most pressing problems facing humanity.
Reasons like: I travel... I work...I raise children… I don’t have the time… I don’t have the money… My donation won’t matter… I don’t understand where it will go…
With one list, Wendy - a career banker, mother, entrepreneur, and storyteller - shaped a singularly successful model for Impact100 that stands strong today: “One woman. One donation. One vote.” = Big Impact in five major community focus areas.
The result so far: $123 million funded globally by over 60 Impact100 chapters since initial inception in 2002. We are honored to have Wendy join us as an Impact100 SRQ memberfor the 2023 Giving Year! |

Need to order a nametag? Visit our on-line store or click below. Select your Join Year from the Drop Down. REMINDER: if you joined after Feb. 28 of a calendar year, you are a member of the FOLLOWING YEAR. Ex.: joining on or before February 28, 2022, you are a 2022 Member; joining on or after March 1, 2022 you are a 2023 Member.
Select Add to Cart, and then select Checkout. During the checkout process you will be prompted to enter your name as you would like it to appear on your nametag.
Your name and joining year will match your profile in our member contact system. Nametags are ordered in bulk once a month and will be mailed to you. |
