$888,000 in High-Impact Grants

Set to Empower Local Change

Across Sarasota and Manatee Counties

Thanks to the extraordinary commitment of 888 members, Impact100 SRQ has officially launched the 2026 Giving Year with $888,000 in grant funding, making possible eight high-impact grants of $111,000 each for nonprofits serving Sarasota and Manatee Counties.

The announcement was revealed during the energy-filled Annual Big Reveal at The Ora, Sarasota's Premiere Event Venue, where members gathered to celebrate the power of collective giving and witness firsthand how one shared commitment can shape an entire community.

Co-Presidents Pam Kandziora and Sara Winer took the stage to share the heart behind the numbers, stating, “Our model is rooted in both collective impact and accountability. Our members value a culture of giving and learning, coming together to fund transformational grants with the confidence of knowing exactly how every dollar is spent—and the difference it makes,” said Sara Winer. “Every year, our members demonstrate what is possible when women unite with purpose. These grants do more than fund projects—they accelerate solutions, strengthen nonprofits, and create measurable impact throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties.”

By the close of the 2026 Giving Year, Impact100 SRQ will have awarded 46 grants totaling more than $5 million—fueling bold ideas, expanding critical services, and empowering local nonprofits to create lasting change across our region.

This extraordinary level of impact is only possible because of the dedication and generosity of our members. With every member, every decision, and every grant, Impact100 SRQ continues to build momentum—strengthening nonprofits, investing in stronger communities, and shaping a future defined by bold generosity. Every membership expands our collective ability to fund bold ideas and create meaningful change across Sarasota and Manatee Counties, proving year after year what is possible when women unite with purpose and shared commitment.

Joining a Focus Area Committee (FAC) places you at the very heart of how Impact100 SRQ creates transformational change. It is one of the most meaningful ways to experience what makes our organization unique - our members give, and our members decide.

As an FAC member, you help review grant applications, engage in thoughtful discussion, and take part in the powerful process that leads to selecting the nonprofits that will move forward for member voting. From the first application review to the celebration of grant recipients, members often describe the experience as one of the most rewarding parts of their Impact100 journey.

No prior experience is needed - just curiosity, commitment, and a desire to make a difference. Every perspective adds value, and all interested members are encouraged to participate.

FAC online grant reviews begin in August, with committee meetings held in September and October. Meetings are two hours each, with two committees meeting in person and three meeting virtually, making participation flexible and accessible.

If you want to see firsthand how bold local impact begins,

joining a Focus Area Committee is where it starts.
